## Reduction plans

### Science-aligned targets
- We commit to reducing 2021 Scope 1 and 2 emissions 50% by 2030. (completion: 0%)

### Reduction action plans
- **Scope 3** — We plan to start producing closer to our customer, here in New York. (source: Downstream shipping, target: Q4 2022, completion: 50%)
- **Scope 3** — Reduce air freight by working on our production calendar to start using ocean freight to ship core product (source: Upstream shipping, target: Q2 2022, completion: 0%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to nearshore a portion of our garment production to reduce upstream transportation emissions. (source: Upstream shipping, target: Q4 2023, completion: 0%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions from our wool supply chain. (source: Raw materials, target: Q4 2023, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to implement a preferred material strategy by increasing our percentage of recycled fibers to reduce emissions as part of our preferred fiber strategy across all categories. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2023, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to trial new forms of manufacturing processes such as just-in-time to reduce overall product stock levels by only ordering what is needed, when it’s needed. (source: Supply Chain Manufacturing, target: Q2 2025, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to further build and develop our circularity strategy aiming to impact the portion of our products that are made out of virgin materials. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2025, completion: 50%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to partner with regenerative cotton farms that are specifically doing work to draw carbon out of the atmosphere to further lower the carbon impact produced by some of the organic cotton used in our apparel. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2026, completion: 25%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to further optimize sizing and product information on our site with the goal of reducing emissions from shipping returns. (source: Downstream Shipping, target: Q2 2026, completion: 25%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to review all of our certified natural materials that are not farm traceable yet. From this review, we will identify opportunities for additional regenerative farm level relationships. (source: Raw materials, target: 2025, completion: 0%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan on conducting deeper LCA studies for the regenerative fibers in our collection. The purpose of this is to get a more accurate sense of carbon impact from these farm partners, taking into account the carbon their land is sequestering. (source: Raw materials, target: 2025, completion: 0%)
