Wherever you see the Climate Neutral Certified label, it means the company is accountable for its greenhouse gas emissions. To earn the label, a company must annually measure cradle-to-customer emissions, implement specific action plans to reduce emissions, and invest in high quality, verified carbon credits.
The certification requirements are detailed in the rigorous, peer-reviewed Climate Neutral Certified Standard. Each company’s application is reviewed for compliance by Change Climate’s certification team.

Aquila's Nest Vineyards was inspired by mythological tales and our love for astronomy. One of our wines is named after the Goddess of Earth, Gaea. However, our dedication to Mother Earth extends beyond labels. Ever since the time we planted our first vines, we made a conscious decision to use the least amount of chemicals possible in the vineyard maintenance process. We have tried our hardest to use non-plastic glassware, compostable food boxes, compostable utensils, and compostable cups. We've always encouraged our guests to drink from our fresh well water instead of using plastic bottles. We reuse the fallen wood across our 40 acres property for the winery's wood burning stoves, and outdoor fire pits, and we hope to supply 100% solar
