Backdrop is excited to be a role model in the paint category for what a new generation of thoughtful and responsible companies can look like. From the outset, we made sure our products met the strictest environmental standards in our industry, even obtaining third party validation via Green Wise for our low VOC and low odor water based paints. We know that small steps can have big impacts. We opted for a stainless steel recyclable material for our paint cans, introduced fully biodegradable shipping protection in our packaging, and our paint factory is fully powered by renewable energy sources. We also have supported the International Rescue Committee since inception, which is an organization supporting displaced refugee families. Climate related forced migration is a growing cause of displacement. As a Climate Neutral Certified company, Backdrop prioritizes limiting and offsetting our emissions, measuring our carbon footprint, and strategically reducing our carbon impact year over year.
