## Sustainability story

The fight against climate change is never done, and at BE we are constantly looking for ways to improve. We've moved from compostable to rLDPE, we are a certified B-Corp, and we are aiming to use more renewable materials in our products wherever possible. Sustainability and quality are at the forefront of everything we do.

## Emissions (2025)

**Methodology:** Be Ultimate's inventory uses spending data to estimate GHG emissions. Be Ultimate attests to the accuracy of their data inputs and the Change Climate Project team reviews the submission for compliance with the Standard.

## Reduction plans

### Reduction action plans
- **Scope 3** — We will R&D a new product line that functions the same but is out of recycled fabrics. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2022, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 1** — We will upgrade our company car from hybrid to fully electric. (source: Vehicle fleet, target: Q4 2022, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions from the material inputs in our products. (source: Raw materials, target: Q4 2022, completion: 30%)
- **Scope 3** — We will move to a more work from home environment to decrease the need to commute to the office. (source: Employee commuting, target: Q2 2022, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — Reduce non-biodegradable packaging (source: Packaging, target: Q2 2020, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — Have at least 1 product line made of recycled polyester (source: Raw materials, target: Q4 2020, completion: 20%)
- **Scope 1** — Reduce emissions from vehicles owned by Be Ultimate (source: Vehicle fleet, target: Q4 2021, completion: 90%)
