## Sustainability story

Dimagi works at the intersection of global health and technology, developing open source software for frontline health programs in low-resource settings. Dimagi operates on the foundation that mobile solutions are key to improving the quality and efficiency of global development programs. However, despite our good intentions, we know increased use of technology comes with associated growth in our environmental footprint. We focus on creating sustainable impact at all levels and our Climate Neutral Certification is just one step in a company ethos that promotes long-term wellbeing. Dimagi is a certified B Corp and Benefit Corporation.

## Reduction plans

### Reduction action plans
- **Scope 3** — Reduce emissions from data stored in AWS data centers. Data storage emissions (from AWS data centers) are currently from non-renewable energy sources. We will explore options for transitioning our data to a data center powered by renewable energy. (source: Software and servers, target: Q4 2022, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions from business travel by decreasing carbon emissions related to domestic and international travel. (source: Business travel, target: Q4 2022, completion: 100%)
