## Sustainability story

Etsy operates two-sided online marketplaces: The Etsy marketplace is the global destination for unique, creative goods from independent sellers, and Depop, a leading fashion resale marketplace.

Our mission is to Keep Commerce Human. That means making a positive impact on the lives of our buyers, sellers, and their communities — including taking steps to protect the planet we all call home. That’s why we support climate solutions that reduce our emissions, and we take responsibility for the emissions we continue to produce through projects that improve air quality and cut emissions beyond our business. Our Climate Label certification helps us clearly and credibly communicate our work.

## Emissions (2026)

**Methodology:** Etsy's emissions inventory uses a mix of spending and activity-based data. An independent third party verification ensures accuracy and completeness of the inventory. The Change Climate team reviews the submission for compliance with the Standard.
