## Sustainability story

Becoming Carbon Neutral has always been a goal for our company and this year we finally want to take the steps to fully commit to the process and get fully certified. We have always taken in-house measures to limit our footprint as best as possible, but would appreciate an outside look in to show how much further we need to go.

## Emissions (2023)

**Methodology:** Heady's emissions inventory uses a mix of spending and activity-based data. Heady attests to the accuracy of their data inputs and the Change Climate team reviews the submission for compliance with the Standard.

## Reduction plans

### Reduction action plans
- **Scope 2** — We plan to reduce electricity consumption by 30% in our Brooklyn office by installing motion sensors for lighting in the office and conference rooms. (source: Electricity, target: Q2 2025, completion: 0%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce business travel emissions by reducing and optimizing air travel (e.g. taking direct flights, taking a train for short distances), and educating employees on climate-conscious traveling techniques (e.g. flying economy, packing light). (source: Business travel, target: Q2 2025, completion: 0%)
