## Sustainability story

MANTRA launched to make Planet Positive Performance Apparel. Every product is inspired by nature, built with low-impact materials and processes, and supports conservation efforts through our 1% for the Planet commitment. But every product has a footprint - no matter how it is made or what it is made from - so we are thrilled to be able to measure, offset and reduce our carbon footprint!

There's much to protect, let's all do our part.

## Emissions (2024)

**Methodology:** Mantra's inventory uses spending data to estimate GHG emissions. Mantra attests to the accuracy of their data inputs and the Change Climate Project team reviews the submission for compliance with the Standard.

## Reduction plans

### Reduction action plans
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce the physical waste at our factory by increasing fabric efficiency by using scrap pieces or creating products more efficiently (e.g. 3D knit). (source: Operational waste, target: Q4 2022, completion: 33%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions from virgin materials by making our products more circular. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2022, completion: 50%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions from the impact of the materials used in our primary product, the Performance Polo. (source: Raw materials, target: Q4 2023, completion: 75%)
- **Scope 3** — We plan to reduce emissions related to employee travel. (source: Employee commuting, target: Q1 2023, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — Transition packaging materials to biodegradable or recyclable materials (package, garment bag, inserts). (source: Packaging, target: Q2 2020, completion: 99%)
- **Scope 3** — Reduce transport emissions by limiting air freight in supply chain (samples, prototypes, production runs). (source: Upstream shipping, target: Q4 2020, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — Source raw materials closer to manufacturing to reduce miles traveled by 20% across fabric suppliers. (source: Upstream shipping, target: Q3 2024, completion: 100%)
- **Scope 3** — Develop a new performance fabric compostion with a lower environmental impact to reduce emissions associated with fabric composition by 25% across men's polo collection. (source: Raw materials, target: Q2 2024, completion: 50%)
- **Scope 3** — Transition 75% of air freight to ocean freight across all production inventory shipments. (source: Upstream shipping, target: Q4 2025, completion: 0%)
- **Scope 3** — Transition 50% cotton fabric to organic or BCI certified cotton across Essentials product line. (source: Raw materials, target: Q4 2025, completion: 0%)
