## Sustainability story

TOPIKU designs sustainable headwear, responsibly hand-crafted by artisans, using upcycled + recycled waste materials. Our mission is to facilitate the sustainable development of artisan manufacturing communities through responsible business practices. Our model creates premium-quality headwear that enables artisans to earn living wages, while diverting materials from ending up in landfills.

Currently, Topiku is an industry-leader in the sustainable headwear space, having published the world's first publicly available Carbon Footprint Report for a Baseball Cap in 2022. In the 10 years since launching, they continue to collaborate with and supply businesses and non-profits around the world with custom sustainable hats.

## Emissions (2026)

**Methodology:** Topiku's inventory uses spending data to estimate GHG emissions. Topiku attests to the accuracy of their data inputs and the Change Climate Project team reviews the submission for compliance with the Standard.
