## Sustainability story

At True North, starting out as a small company that made recreational packs and moving to creating functional fire packs for wildland firefighters, being in — and protecting the outdoors has always been a core belief of our organization, and a necessity for its culture. Our sustainability approach involves applying innovative ways to reduce, and recycle materials used for our products to help close the loop. We also donate 1% of our profits to American Forests and help plant tens-of-thousands of trees across North America each year which vastly improves the ecosystems they’re in. In the words of our founder Alyx Fier – “Being Climate Neutral means being a good steward for our planet and for its future generations.”
