The issues facing our planet require urgent action. That's why we're building awareness and consideration of our environmental impacts into the foundation of how we make gear. YAMA Mountain Gear was a founding member of the Climate Action Corps and a member of 1% For the Planet from 2019 - 2022. We first estimated our greenhouse gas emissions for Scopes 1, 2 & 3 in 2021 and purchased Verified Carbon Offsets to balance those emissions. We are focused on reducing Scope 3 emissions per unit of value added.
